Mihret spent over an hour today feeling the clean, warm water on her hands and playing with the bubbles in the sink. We should not take this gift for granted!

- We are an Air Force family who have lived in ten different places during our 17 years of marriage. We are in the process of adopting a child from Ethiopia, which is a primary reason we began this blog. We have learned so much about the needs of the suffering outside of the borders of our affluent country. As Christians, we are called by our LORD to respond. Our desire is to record our journey as encouragement to our own family, as well as others.

So cute!! We have a hard time getting Winnie away from the sink too.
Bekeh too! She thinks everything needs a good washing! Cell phones, dolls, pillows, shoes! We're so thankful to have all of our things so clean! hmm
EVERY Douglas who sees her pictures says, "She looks like Biruk!" Maybe they'll be a match someday...Love ya!
